栖灵塔
    隋文帝仁寿元年（601）下诏令初建，塔内供奉佛
骨（舍利子），故称“栖灵塔”，久负盛名。唐代诗人
李白、刘禹锡、白居易等均曾登塔赋诗赞颂。可惜在唐
武宗会昌三年（843）一代胜迹化为焦土。时逢政通人
和之际，于一九九二年重建此塔。九六年元月正式对外
开放。塔高九层，雄踞蜀冈，古城风貌尽收眼底。
    白居易曾与刘禹锡同游扬州作：
         与梦得同登栖灵寺塔
    半月悠悠在广陵，    何楼何塔不同登？
    共怜筋力犹堪任，    上到栖灵第九层。


                    Qiling Pagoda
    In 601 A.D，a nine-s toreyed pagoda called
“Qiling Pagoda”was built in the temple.A pagoda 
for Buddhism relics. The celebrated Tang Dynasty 
poets LiBai、Liu Yuxi、and Bai juyi had visited 
the Pagoda and some oftheir famous poems was 
written there．The pagoda Was destroyed by fire 
in 843 .It was rebuilt in 1992,and proper open 
in 1996，Folowing is a poem written by Bai Juyi：
Climbing Qiling Pagoda with Liu yuxi    
Stay at Guangling for half month．climbed all
 the pagodas and pavilionS．
Too old to climb,but for the beautiful scenery,
 we still climb to the nine-storey.
